To be aware of your communication, start to make yourself aware that everything you do, are, and have sends a message. If you slouch in your seat, that sends a message to the people around you, if you belch, that sends a message to. If you wear a shirt, even a shirt with no writing or pictures, that shirt also sends a message. You should carefully consider what each thing communicates. Does your slouch communicate laziness or indifference? If you belch, what does your burp communicate to the people around you? What does your shirt say about who you are and how you want people to see you?

Once you’ve started to get an understanding of what each thing about you communicates, try to change what you’re communicating. If your slouch communicates laziness, that’s going to tell people that you’re lazy. Other lazy people aren’t likely to think that’s a problem, but productive efficient people are likely to look down on you. If you’re in class, slouching can actually lower your grade simply by giving the teacher the perception that you’re a lazy student who isn’t going to try, and most girls are going to want a man who’s willing to work hard either to support them, make them happy, or both. Even if your slouch is “cool” and communicates indifference, you need to watch where it’s used. An indifferent slouch in class could lower your grade too, by telling the teacher you don’t care. Burping in public is very disrespectful to the people around you, it would be best to avoid burping unless no one will hear it, and even then you might be better off keeping it as quiet as you can manage. If you wear a black or blue shirt, that’s likely to give the impression that you’re clam and cool. A button up shirt may give the impression of being intelligent, but it may give the impression of being a geek too. These are some examples, but you should try to understand as many aspects of what you communicate as you can, and use them to your advantage. Anything from the way you talk, to what you dress, to the things you do, or even the way you hold your body might mean the difference between finding that special someone and scaring them away.

Step 7) Be Reasonable – People are more likely to like you if you’re accepting of them. Try not to condemn people you’re trying to make friends with, even in your mind. You’ll find making friends will be easier with the people you accept. Don’t make friends w
ith the people you don’t accept, but if there aren’t many people left after you remove those people, you may want to reevaluate why you don’t accept those people. You should try to accept everyone, and if there’s someone you don’t accept, make sure there’s a good reason. Also, make sure that you don’t overreact to things. Overreacting makes you seem like a loose canon, and you want people to think that you’ve got yourself under control.

Step Have Options – Don’t let any girl be your only option. This means that you should avoid falling in love ahead of time in favor of simply becoming friends with a number of girls. Make sure that you’re not making any woman you’re interested in feel like she’s the only one in the world you’re interested in, or you decrease your chances of the relationship progressing. Sow the seeds of possibility with many woman, keep your options open until one of the relationships start to pick up.

Step 9) Set Priorities – Have a clear understanding of how important any given thing is in your life. If you want to find that special someone, you’re going to need to put the women before your hobbies. They may suggest that you do things your not really interested in, and you should consider taking them up on it. You may find that you like what they’ve suggested, but even if you don’t this will send the message that they’re important, which most women will find an attractive trait.

Step 10) Be Patient – Don’t try to rush a relationship. This means don’t try to get from friendship into her romantic life to quickly. Also, don’t think that just because you’ve cleaned up your act, a girl will fall into your lap the very next day. These tips will help, but it will take some time for you to sew the seeds, and even once you do you may not see results for weeks. It’s also important to remember not to expect the relationship to turn sexual for a while. If she seems to be pressing for sex open up a dialogue about it, but don’t try to press the issue.

Even if you use these steps to the letter though, it only increases your chances of getting a girlfriend. Love is a game of skill, but fate is a roulette wheel, and you can’t be sure you’re going to find someone worth knowing no matter how you go about it. No matter how long it takes, and no matter how many times you get rejected, keep trying. It’s important to remember that no program or article will be able to guarantee you lasting romance or happiness.
